The Oklahoma State Department of Education - Office of Special Education Services will be hosting a one-day Paraprofessional Conference in Lawton, Oklahoma. 

The conference will feature keynote presentations on students with disabilities and mental health, behavior, and instructional strategies. In addition, participants will also hear from our partnering organizations Oklahoma Parents Center (OPC) and Oklahoma ABLE Tech. 

Attending the conference will allow paraprofessionals to obtain the 6 hours of Professional Development required for the school year.

Additionally, Project 613 funds will reimburse for costs associated with attending the conference. Such costs include: Substitutes, Travel, and Lodging (lodging may be reimbursed if over 60 miles).
